Microsoft will give out free Xbox One games to anyone with an Xbox One if they buy a gaming system and its accessories, according to Microsoft.
In a blog post published on Tuesday, the company said it will now offer free games to Xbox Live Gold members who buy a console, its accessories and a gaming PC.
The free games will also be available to anyone buying a Xbox One through a retailer such as Amazon, which currently has the most subscribers to Xbox One in the world.
Microsoft says there are already thousands of Xbox One gamers worldwide, and the new program will give them access to games that they can play without a monthly subscription.
“We’re proud to have such passionate and loyal Xbox One owners in our community, and we want to give them the opportunity to enjoy some of the best games and experiences of the year without having to pay a monthly fee,” Microsoft said in the post.
Microsoft has previously said it would be giving away games to players who have the Xbox One and its Xbox Live online service for free if they purchase a console.
Microsoft also announced that Xbox Live subscriptions would no longer be required to use the online service.
Microsoft says Xbox Live will be available until the end of June for those who want to buy a new Xbox One console.
